Χθες το βράδυ, πραγματοποιήθηκε η απονομή των 77ων Emmy Awards, με τις σειρές Adolescence, The Studio, The Pitt και The Late Show With Stephen Colber να λάμπουν και να ξεχωρίζουν ανάμεσα στις σειρές που είδαμε το 2024.
Ο Seth Rogen κυριάρχησε στα Emmy με τη σειρά The Studio, η οποία απέσπασε τέσσερα βραβεία, ανάμεσά τους εκείνα για Καλύτερη Κωμική Σειρά και Α’ Ανδρικό Ρόλο σε Κωμωδία. Στη σκηνοθεσία μοιράστηκε το βραβείο με τον Evan Goldberg, ενώ στο σενάριο τιμήθηκε από κοινού με τους Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory και Frida Perez.
Η σειρά The Pitt ξεχώρισε επίσης, κατακτώντας τρία Emmy, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του βραβείου Καλύτερης Δραματικής Σειράς. Ο Noah Wyle κέρδισε το Emmy Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Δράμα, ενώ η Katherine LaNasa έκανε την ανατροπή, παίρνοντας το βραβείο Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Δράμα και αφήνοντας εκτός νίκης τις υποψήφιες του The White Lotus.
Απρόσμενη ήταν και η βράβευση του Jeff Hiller για Β’ Ανδρικό Ρόλο σε Κωμωδία με το Somebody Somewhere, κερδίζοντας μάλιστα τον Harrison Ford, που διεκδικούσε το πρώτο του Emmy.
